I just set up my 264 gallon inflatable pool and found that tiny debris, too heavy to float to the surface for my skimmer to get, remained at the bottom of the pool. I didn't want to empty the pool each time it was used, bills are high enough during the summer with the AC on! So, I bought this vac, today actually. The packaging featured a different brand name but the device is of the same exact color and set-up as the one featured here. It did not come with directions, but after looking at it for a few minutes, I figured out how to assemble it. It has no motor, and doesn't require batteries. I just attached my garden hose to the device (under water to create a suction) and began immediately cleaning everything from the bottom of the pool, collecting all the once-unreachable debris in a little cloth bag! Especially for the price, it is a must-have for any small pool or spa owner!

This is the neatest thing! I didn't care for the vacuum that came with my Intex 18' pool, but you use what you get. THIS little vacuum really picks up the sand and pine needles that sit at the bottom of the pool! The suction and the wheels makes it flow along the pool bottom. Only problem is that the handle isn't very long,and I wish that it was bigger. All in all I highly recommend this if you have an Intex pool and want to really vacuum the bottom!

If you have a small pool (or whatever) using this type of cleaner will add water toit, so make sure you need to do that at the time you clean the bottom.You need to ram the filter plastic piece all the way home on the roller Assembly pieceor it will just keep coming apart when you sweep. I added a little silicone just to makesure it stayed in place.It does a good job cleaning the bottom of an iPool that I use it on and I don't feel theneed to spend any more money on an upgrade.Addendum:Because the vacuum adds water to the pool and can be cumbersome at times, I changed it to a realpool vacuum by getting rid of the filter bag and plastic fitting and then taking a section ofleft over carpet vacuum black plastic tubing (most people have sections of this tubing left overfrom vacuums that have been thrown away) that I cut off a section at the small cone end which fitsnicely into the roller part of this vacuum and then onto the Intex blue exhaust screen.SEE JPGThis set up actually works better in a small pool (like my iPool) where you don't have a lot ofroom to maneuver around in.
