We bought this as a pump for our 110+ gallon aquarium; we wanted an "outside tank" pump and this was not only more affordable, but stronger, and looked more durable than the ones offered through pet companies. Although it was made for a "pool"; we went outside the box using it for our tank and it does a great job; a little loud, but a good job. We are quite impressed with our small investment.

Perfect filter for my 451 gallon kiddie pool. All I want to do in a pool is float. Add a flotation device with sun protection and my stress went away without me having to avoid the influx of middle and high school students. The filter takes away the frequency of having to empty the pool.
