Well worth the money!

I strongly recommend this as an add-on to your above ground pool. It's so nice not having to worry about buying filter cartridges and not having to add chlorine to the pool. I ran it on the "boost" option for the 1st couple of days while the pool was getting stablized. The water is crystal clear and there is no smell of chlorine. I actually paid more for this than I did for the pool, a 15'x48" intex metal frame pool, but I have no regrets at all.

Low maintenance

We use this with the saltwater system. It's our second season using both and we have had no problems. We did change out the sand for this season. We fill our 5000 gallon pool with dark (iron) well water and turn this on (with the saltwater system). Our pool water looks black when we start. Within 3 days, we have crystal clear water. It's amazing. We hardly have to mess with it for the remainder of the summer. Worth the money!

Great pump, faulty tubing

Simple install and powerful pump. The tube between the pump and filter is short so the bend is very tight and caused the plastic tubing to tear at the fitting. Intex as able to do a warranty replacement and received in the mail 4 days later! bravo!
