Intex 15' above ground

Bought a bigger pump and big DE filter and found they were collapsing the original 1.25" hoses, so I bought bigger hoses and upgraded these (the originals were old anyway). Not sure if these are bigger, but they seem to work great, fit just fine on my 15' pool.CONS: one problem is the cover for the directional return has threads on only put on part of the connection (like every other inch). This means the water sprays back around the connection, no matter how tight you make it. Normally it wouldn't matter much, but it actually sprays water out of the pool. I took it off for now.Maybe I'm supposed to take off some of the clear plastic covers to lower the pressure.
