We have a 2 year old son who is obsessed with water. I wanted to get a pool that I could sit in with him because it gets hot in Georgia. I didn't want to spend too much so I thought this was big enough for the price. We have been in it everyday since we got it. I was actually able to set it up by myself with no problem. You do need either an air compressor or the foot pump to blow up the top ring. Once you make sure it's a perfect circle you fill it up with water and about 3 hours later it was ready for swimming. It is a pretty big pool. We had about 6 people (1 adult with 5 kids) ages ranging from 28-2 in it with room to spare. It's a great little pool for the yard. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a pool thats not too expensive for children.

The INTEX pool took a while to get up in our yard because we had to level the ground. Once we did, we placed the ground cloth (from INTEX), which really could be any tarp or ground covering you choose (which should be used to prevent anything scratching the liner on the bottom) and blew up the pool ring with a pump we had from our kids inflatable jumper, and filled the pool. Took about 2 hours to fill the pool with one hose, and we smoothed the bottom liner while filling it. That is a very important step, unless you like sitting or walking on wrinkles in the bottom of a pool. We upgraded the pool filter to the 1000 gal/hr which I think works better than the included pump. We placed the solar cover (INTEX) on for a day and the pool water was almost bath warm. East setup and no troubles!!

This is great for the back yard and for general wetness. I would recommend upgrading to a better pump. I also would warn that if the ground is not completely level, you will have leakage issues from water. Also directions say NOTHING about the appropriate way to inflate the top ring. I used an air mattress pump, but still not aired up properly.the top ring slopes on one side and not sure if that will/will not go away. Happy wetness.
