The adapter works great. It is held in to the pool inlet by the suction of the pump, so be sure your pump is on or it may fall out.

Don't waste time or money

This was a complete waste of money. Don't believe that this item is compatible with your Intex pool. It doesn't fit on the intake, in ANY direction. You'll end up doing just as I did, and find yourself tossing it right into the trash.

It wasn't what I expected

I wich there would have been more information in hte description about the dimentions because it was not a good fit but would have cost more in total shipping costs than it cost to begin with.
