I have the 8' x 30" Intex pool. After vacuuming my pool, there was still quite a large amount of sand left behind. This was very easily fixed by attaching a sock instead of the debris bag that came with it. My suggestion to anyone purchasing this product would be to discard the debris bag, and use either a sock or a nylon instead! Other than that, I am Very Pleased with the results, and would definately purchase again and recommend this product to anyone with a children's pool! It does the job!

I was skeptical about this product because I wasn't really sure if you hooked it to the water faucet or got it to suck the junk out. It hooks to the water faucet and you turn on the faucet. The pressure somehow makes the junk go into the little bag. It picks up the large stuff. Fine sediment however can make it through the cheese cloth. I am happy with the product and it only takes about 10 minutes to clean my 16' pool. It picks up the debris that accumulates at the bottom; leaves, bugs,etc.

Note: this is NOT a toy. I do not know why it is labeled that way. Anyway, this is a great companion to the smaller Intex pools. The vacuum and the skimmer both work great. The little cheesecloth bag doesn't hold up very well though, but a tube sock works great as a replacement. Overall, a good buy.
