I have an Intex 15 ft above ground pool. After 1 year, my filter pump quit working. A relative just happened to have a spare 1500 gal (Larger) pump to give us. But,I found that the inlets to the pump are the same size as the hose, thereby requiring a converter. These converters came in about a week and worked perfectly. No apparent leaking and they seem pretty strong and snug.

we have a salt system with a non intex pump and this threaded coupler really made it so easy to add intex salt system to a real pool pump
