This is my second intex pool. We used to have a similar one (18x10), but it was round. It lasted 4 years. I did take it down after each summer was over. This new pool is very much the same. Easy to put up. All you do is lay it down on flat ground, blow up the ring, insert the poles and fill up. It took about 7 hours to fill up. I did upgrade to the bigger pump. I had this pump from my previous pool. I think the pump it came with is too small for the pool unless you plan on running it all day. I put my pool up Memorial Weekend. I run my pump 2 hours a day, and it is now the end of June, and my pool is still crystal clear. My whole family is enjoying this pool. It is very large and enough for many kids and adults to play in. I am going to try to leave this one up and just winterize it. I hope it works but this one is just way too heavy and big for me to store.

This pool was a good purchase but I ran into a lot of problems with putting the pool up. The ground is required to be level. If it's a little off it will not stand correctly. Also when installing the pool the dvd says you should 4ft of space around the pool. i don't know if i overlooked this or if it was stated in the details. I didn't have the 4ft around the pool but i was able to get it up. I had to work a little harder because i didn't have the extra space. I love the pool. My kids have been in it almost everday which gives me more time to get house work done.

My father in law has a bigger version of this so install was easy with his help. My biggest disappointment was the hoses and pump because we had to duct tape everywhere in order to stop the leaking. It's still leaking in 2 spots... that's annoying because I'm sure next year it will be worse - but then again, you get what you paid for. Probably would have gotten a better one in hindsight.
