Good but i would purchase a higher end pump

After my original pump burned out on my pool, i purchased this one. A month later i bought a 1500 gallon pump which works much better for the money. The 800 gallon pump is OK, but for the money I would recommend a higher end pump.

Pump won't last...

We bought the 1000 GPH pump on Amazon and received it June 29, 2009. We ran it for about 2 months before storing the pool in the shed for the winter. Started the pool up about a month ago and this pump quit working on July 18th, 2010. Called Intex and they won't warranty it even though it's only a few weeks over the 12 month warranty.Do NOT plan on this pump lasting more than one season.

Pushes and filters the water nicely in the pool, perfect upgrade to the standard pump that comes with the smaller pools. Highly recommended
